epidemiological surveys involving hundreds of people.
Reviewer of scientific papers on behalf of international
journals (European Heart Journal, American Journal of Cardiology,
Arteriosclerosis Thrombosis and Vascular Biology, Heart, Diabetes
Care, etc.)
Author of more than 200 scientific publications, 3 books an 4
book chapters, mainly concerning cardiovascular risk, epidemiological investigations in the elderly and, recently,
the physiopathology, prognosis and treatment of stroke.
