Scientific Activity
Her current research consists in a Mass Flow Analysis to measure side-flows and waste streams in the agricultural production and food processing stages, both on a quantitative and a qualitative perspective.
Her previous research was focused on the integration of the three pillars of sustainability (environmental, economic, social) in a holistic sustainability assessment framework through the Life Cycle Thinking approach, focused on City Region Food System initiatives and to be developed within the H2020 project FoodE. Other research interests focus on food system sustainability, circular economy innovative practices and nature-based solutions, SDGs implementation and monitoring.
