Curriculum vitae

I was born in Cesena on January 30th 1995.

Education

On October 25th 2019 I attained my Master's Degree in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Bologna, with 110/110 cum laude. During my last year I spent 6 months at the University of Amsterdam, where I carried out my traineeship in Shiju N. Raveendran's group, focusing on liquid phase heterogeneous catalysis with both monomeric substrates and polymeric materials. My thesis, "A new, environmentally friendly approach towards the synthesis of epoxy functionalized poly-DCPD", was supervised by Fabrizio Cavani.

On July 20th 2017 I attained my Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Bologna, with 110/110 cum laude. During my last year I spent 5 months at the University of Edinburgh, where I carried out my traineeship in Jason Love's group, working on design and synthesis of metal complexes for homogeneous catalysis. My thesis, "Synthesis and investigation of first row transition metal complexes as catalysts for CO2 electroreduction", was written under the guidance of Massimiliano Curcio and Cristina Femoni, co-supervisor and supervisor, respectively.
