I am assistant professor at the University of Bologna. Before that, I was a postdoc at SISSA, Trieste, holding a SISSA Mathematical Fellowship (2018-2021). Before that I was a postdoc at Max-Planck Institut für Mathematik in Bonn (2017-2018). I graduated at University of Stavanger (Norway), with a thesis titled Local Donaldson-Thomas invariants and their refinements.

I work in Algebraic Geometry, especially in enumerative geometry. In particular, I am interested in

  1. enumerative geometry of moduli spaces of sheaves (usually on complex 3-folds): I like to study and compute refined invariants of such moduli spaces, such as K-theoretic or motivic Donaldson-Thomas invariants;
  2. virtual fundamental classes, virtual localisation, wall-crossing formulae in enumerative geometry,
  3. Motivic invariants of moduli spaces, Grothendieck ring of varieties
  4. cohomology of moduli spaces of curves and their tautological rings,
  5. derived categories of sheaves and their semiorthogonal decompositions.
