Amirreza Kazemikhasragh earned his bachelor's degree in economics at Islamic Azad University, his master's degree in Economics and Economic Policy at the University of Bologna and his master's degree in International Health and Social Management at MCI-Innsbruck. In 2019, he completed his PhD in governance, management, and economics at Parthenope University of Naples.
In 2022, he realized a post-doctorate programme at the UNAM. His research topics correspond to gender equality and social inclusion, and he published articles in Scopus indexed journals.
He conducted research topics at the universities and contributed to the United Nations agencies on social economy, health economy, sustainable development, and fiscal space and policies projects. In his recent collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), he led the health reform policies for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Pakistan, collaborating between national and international organizations and national authorities.
