Alessandra Minissale is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the Department of Sociology, Uppsala University, since October 2018, and a PhD candidate in Legal Studies (in co-tutelle) at the School of Law, Alma Mater Studiorum-Bologna University.
From March 2020, Alessandra works as an Associate Researcher at the 'Istituto di Informatica Giuridica e Sistemi Giudiziari - Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (IGSG-CNR)' - Bologna.
From February 2020 until January 2022, Alessandra worked as a Research Assistant for Uppsala Univerisity - Department of Sociology.
Alessandra graduated in law and worked at the Faculty of Law - Alma mater Studiorum (University of Bologna, Italy) as Assistant in Civil Procedural Law.
Alessandra's research now focus on emotions and decision-making in court, as part of the international ERC-project Justemotions - The Construction of Objectivity. The project is funded by the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. ERC Starting Grant (No 757625).
