I have two main fields of expertise dealing with galaxy and globular cluster evolution, and with the physical characterization of space debris, artificial satellites and deep-space man-made probes. Both these studies rely on numerical models and observing programs at the major telescopes, from ground and space. My papers collected over 2800 citations (as from the NASA ADS quotation index), with a total Hirtsch Index of 27.
