This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Grant Agreement.

ORGANISATION OF INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES OR CONGRESSES

2007: Organization with the Alexander Langer Foundation of the international event “Euromediterranea”, entitled “Aids – South Africa” and of the corresponding Langer International Award. The event’s theme: analysis of the relationship between pharmaceutical intellectual property, international requirements contained in the WTO’s TRIPS and the South African constitution. The international prize was awarded to Zackie Achmat and the NGO Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) for its commitment to reducing the cost of pharmaceuticals for HIV/AIDS treatment in South Africa. FELLOWSHIPS AND AWARDS

2017: Marie Sklodowska-Curie Researchers Award 2017 (Italy). The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), in collaboration with the Ministero dell’Istruzione dell’Università e della Ricerca (MIUR) and the European Commission, awarded this honor during the celebration of the 150th anniversary of Marie Skłodowska Curie’s birth.

March-June 2008: Guest Researcher at the Supreme Court of the State of Israel

2007: Member of the mission to Zhuhai, China organized by the University of Bologna and the Department of Politics, Institutions, History. Responsible for evaluating a possible agreement for establishing a Summer School in political sciences, economics and law for Chinese students. Chinese Partners: United International College (Beijing Normal University – Hong Kong Baptist University). Presentation of a paper entitled “The European Union ‘Constitutional’ System” at the United International College in Zhuhai as part of the mission.

2007: Participation as a member of the Réseau franco-américain at the seminar held in New York on “Internationalisation of Constitutional Law and Constitutionalisation of International Law”. The Réseau franco-américain was formed at the Collège de France under the direction of Prof. Mireille Delmas Marty and the Cardozo Law School in New York under Prof. Michel Rosenfeld. U.S. Supreme Court justice Stephen Breyer also participated.

MAJOR COLLABORATIONS

2009: participation to the drafting of the International Scientific Report: At the End of the End of History. Global Legal Standards: Part of the Solution or Part of the Problem? The Report has been commissioned by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance and officially presented during the international workshop: Global Standards in the 21st Century organized by the G8 Presidency in Rome at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Villa Madama on the 11-12th of May 2009.

2006-2007: Consultant at the National Broadcasting Company (RadioTelevisione Italiana RAI3), realisation of three documentaries on international judicial trials.
