Conoscenze e abilità da conseguire Alla fine del corso, gli studenti saranno in grado di: (a) comprendere la struttura istituzionale della Unione Europea; (b) esaminare il processo decisionale della Unione Europea nelle sue varie sfaccettature; (c) analizzare le principali politiche pubbliche della Unione Europea; (d) valutare le sfide poste da recenti crisi alla Unione Europea; (e) migliorare la chiarezza e l'organizzazione dell'espressione scritta e orale, e padroneggiare l'uso di fonti ufficiali della Unione Europea.

Metodi didattici

L'insegnamento combinerà lezioni frontali date dal docente ed attività seminariali. Si presume che tutti gli studenti leggeranno in anticipo sull'argomento di ogni sessione e saranno pronti a contribuire alla discussione in classe.

Modalità di verifica e valutazione dell'apprendimento

Tesina di 4000 parole, incluse note e bibliografia, a sceltra tra vari temi trattati nel corso. Lo specifico titolo della tesina di ogni studente deve essere concordato in anticipo dallo studente con il docente. Si consiglia di concordare il titolo della tesina prima di iniziare a lavorare sulla stessa.

Ove necessario, il docente si avvarra’ di vari strumenti, tra cui programi di software, per verificare eventuali plagi degli elaborati, prendendo provvedimenti del caso.

La consegna della tesina deve essere fatta tramite email, spedito alla docente lucia.quaglia@unibo.it, in formato pdf.

Le date per la consegna della tesina sono: 14 Dicembre, 16 Gennaio, 1 Febbraio.

Lo studente che dovesse rifiutare il voto potra' rielaborare la sua tesina e ripresentarla entro la data successiva, ma non piu' di una volta. Al terzo tentativo, dovra' cambiare tema della tesina.
