Learning outcomes

Students learn the standard topics of Arabic language.

Comprehension of written and spoken Modern Arabic.

Usage of modern Arabic grammar more than traditional grammatical methodology.

Course contents

The derived forms of the verb: indicative, subjunctive and apocope. The imperative of the derivative verbs. The passive of simple and derivative verbs. The present and past participle.The cardinal and ordinal numerals. Relative pronouns. Further details and peculiarities on the noun. Inna and its sisters, kana and its sisters. Quadrilateral, irregular and defective verbs. Conditional sentences. Advanced syntax.
