Teaching methods

The French language and culture I module includes the study of grammatical notions with in-depth studies, reflections in a contrastive approach and practical exercises.

Audiovisual material and the Internet are also used in the lessons.

It is strongly recommended to complete the grammar preparation foreseen in the course and in the lectures with autonomous and individual work.

Assessment methods

The final test of the 'French language and culture' module comprises
- a written test of grammar/conversation and vocabulary
- the oral test will consist of the presentation of a dossier made up of authentic written and audiovisual documents on one of the themes studied during the lessons and an exchange with questions.

The methodology for the creation and oral presentation of the dossier will be explained in detail in the classroom.

It is necessary to have passed the written test with a mark of 18/30 in order to have access to the oral test. For the written test, the use of a dictionary is not permitted.
