ACADEMIC YEAR 2021/2022 Learning outcomes
The student will know the various aspects of human nutrition and understand the importance of nutrients in their metabolic biochemical aspects.
In particular, new acquisitions on fat substances will be discussed, both in foods and in the human body.
The student will acquire basic knowledge of nutritional balance as a tool for prevention and health.

Lipids and lipid metabolism
Fatty acids and production of eicosanoids
Metabolism of the eicosanoids

The role of vitamins in metabolism: hydro and liposoluble

Assessment methods
Verification of learning can take place with the oral examination method, open to all Students, lasting approximately 45-60 minutes. The questions concern the topics developed in the lectures. The Student will be asked at least two questions (up to a maximum of four) whose answers will be deepened, to evaluate his understanding and ability to reason in the corresponding topics.
