Course contents
CONTENTS
1 Reflection on language in its formal, semantic and pragmatic aspects;
2 Textual analysis;
3 Linguistic reflection in communicative approach;
4 Evolution of oral language and its relationships with written language;
5 Grammar, vocabulary, translation, civilization;
6 Theories and practices of translation;
7 Analysis of translations of literary texts and comparison of different translation solutions for the same text-source.
The Program is based on reading, translation and linguistic, historical and critical commentary of Romanian literary texts that will be given in class or at consulting to each student starting from his/her linguistic skills. It will be analysed Romanian grammar, morphology and syntax of Romanian texts.
