Learning outcomes

The course aims to present critically the disciplines of welfare in our country, in correlation with the prospects of social Europe, with particular focus on insurance and social security nets as well as the most important complementary pension schemes

Constitutional models and art. 38 Cost.

Development of the italian social security system, welfare policies, social measures

The social security system

The contributory relationship

The benefits relationship

The main social risks: health; ageing; unemployment; employer's insolvency

Teaching methods

The course will be developed by lectures and seminars.

Assessment methods

The final exam consists of an oral interview.

As part of the exam, a written dissertation can be submitted.

Teaching tools

Essays or other materials will be distributed to students during the lectures on the most relevant topics of the course.  Presentations and assessments performed by the student are welcomed.
