Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student: - has a framework of the psychology of psychological development with reference to psychic distress; - is able to analyze the forms of psychological distress.

Course contents

The course will address the main themes of typical and atypical development, through theories of reference. The effects of psychological distress will be seen in the perspective of the life span, with reference to the contexts of life and socialization.

Teaching methods

Classes will be organized as following: lectures; specific issues will be debated for practising argumentation and communication skills

It will also be possible to follow the course in online mode

Assessment methods

5 written open questions, chosen from a list of 10 questions.

Evaluation criteria:

score:6-5: answer that fully discusses the topic

score: 4-3 answer that partially discusses the topic

score :2-1 answer that deals with the topic almost in satisfactory way
