Learning outcomes

At the end of the training activities, the student: a) knows the main theoretical approaches on the topic of lifelong learning; b) is able to use survey tools in educational and training situations; c) is able to analyze educational intervention proposals addressed to groups and individuals.

Both modules are in strict continuity with the course of Developmental Psychology (first year teaching), with respect to which some themes will be taken up again and deepened. The integration of  the two Teaching Modules, in the field of Developmental Psychology and Education, offers students the opportunity to build connections between disciplines, methods and research themes.

 

Teaching Module 1: prof.sa Patrizia Selleri (30 hours)

Lessons will take place in the first semester (from 21 Septemb

er 2020 to 22 October 2020). The course is for third-year students. The lessons will be held at the Department's spaces in the CAMPUS DI CESENA (FC), Room B, Piazza Aldo Moro, 90, but also online (blended form). The contents of the module will propose the following themes:

- relationship between culture, development and learning

- the historical-cultural perspective

- the socio-cognitive approach

- the socioconstructivist perspective and the reflection on the results of the researches

Teaching Module 2: prof. Elvis Mazzoni (30 hours)
The course is aimed at third-year students. Classes will take place in the first semester (from 26 October 2020 to 26 November 2020), in the seat of Department of Psychology at the Campus of Cesena (FC), but also online (blended form).
The module will propose the following contents:

- From Piaget to Papert: constructivism and constructionism
- From Vygotskij to Leont’ev: zone of proximal development and functional organs
- The effects of digital technologies on socio-cognitive development
- Networked Flow: digital technologies and creative networks
- Developmental Robotics - Example of the use of robots to develop knowledge and skills in children

Teaching methods

For both modules are scheduled: theoretical lectures, presentation and discussion of videos, integrative seminars and short exercises in the classroom.

Assessment methods

The final exam, common to both modules, will take place in writtted form. Among the 5 questions of each module the student must choose 3, for a total of 6 questions (3 + 3); each answer gets a maximum of 6 points.

EVALUATION CRITERIA: the evaluation will take into account the compliance of the answer with what is present on the topic in the texts in the bibliography for the exam, as well as the ability to reflect individually on the chosen topic.

Score 6: clear and well-structured answer, with precise references to the study materials, which illustrates all the themes indicated in the proposed outline, bringing reflections consistent with the theme

Score 4: organized response, with generic references to the study materials, which illustrates in a generic way all the topics indicated in the proposed outline

Score 2: confused answer, with scarce / imprecise references to the study materials, which does not follow the proposed path;

Score 0: missing or completely insufficient answer

The test is considered approved only if the sufficiency has been achieved in both modules.

Time available for the test: 100 minutes from the moment the questions are made available. For no reason it is possible to leave the classroom, under penalty of cancellation of the test.
