Learning outcomes

The student knows the problems and he/she is able to use key strategies of the negotiations interpretation.

Course contents

At the beginning will be carried out exercises to strengthen technics and knowledge learn in the years preceding. At the end of the course, students should be able to make a 15 min interpretation and to make a sight translation in both directions (Italian-Spanish, Spanish-Italian). The objective of the course is to train the students to the working life of an negotiations interpreter.

Consolidation about structuring the information, memorizing, cross-language reprocessing, terminological selection and communication skills technics.

Assessment methods

The exam consists in a short bidirectional Italian-Spanish sight translation and a 15 minutes negotiation interpreting.
