Teaching methods

During the lessons the arguments shown in the program of the course are developed. The course contains class exercises.

Assessment methods

There are six sessions during the academic year: two in January / February, three in June / July and one in September. The date, time and place of the written tests are indicated on the Almaesami site (https://almaesami.unibo.it/almaesami/welcome.htm). Registration is compulsory. The lists on Almaesami open about a month before and close two days before the beginning of each session.

Each written test lasts 60 minutes and consists of a theory question and one exercise. A protocol sheet and test text will be distributed, on which the student will be asked to give Last Name, Name and University Number. At the end of time, the text (with the results obtained and the answer to the theory question) and the sheet (with an understandable development of the exercise) will have to be returned. The exercise may refer to: DC Circuitry, Transient Circuitry, AC Circuits, Three-Phase Systems. The theory question will exclusively concern the subjects covered in the program. The use of any teaching aids is forbidden during the tests; The use of a calculator is recommended. The theory question and the exercise are worth fifteen points each. A minimum of five points in each of them must be obtained. The evaluation of the tests will be carried out on the basis of the correctness of the results and the procedures for the solution of the exercise and the relevance and completeness of the answer to the question.

The results of the written tests will be indicated on the Almaesami site on a date that will be communicated during the written test. The results will be fixed a week after the publication on the Almaesami website, except for exceptions (those who want to repeat the test must immediately notify the teacher by e-mail). Each result obtained remains valid for one year, unless it is replaced by a subsequent result.
