Course contents

Prerequisites for admission to the exam: - having passed the exam in Morphological Sciences, Physiological Sciences and General and Applied Nursing Sciences; - have attended general and applied C.I. and have reported suitability to the Professional Laboratory 1; - the achievement of 14 credits of 420 hours: 13 credits of internship sites and 1 CFU of internship related activities (articles 4 and 5 of the internship regulation) - not having passed the three exam sessions after the internship without re-certifying the skills (internship regulation) - The achievement of the clinical learning objectives documented by the assessment assessments of the internship with positive evaluations; The following standards must make the application explicit: - Ministerial Decree 739/94; - Law 42/1999; - Law 251/2000; - Code of Ethics 2019 The student must demonstrate: be able to interpret the data in the first year teaching plan; - know how to use the disciplinary method - know how to find solutions to welfare of nature, with low complexity, applying knowledge and acquired skills based on scientific evidence - know how to apply the assistance procedures (object of the program of the laboratory module I) and discuss their scientific rationale. - know how to apply the procedures related to hand hygiene, the use of personal protective equipment and the adoption of standard precautions - use a technical-scientific language - being able to answer questions of ethical-deontological nature and / or relating to the rules governing professional practice related to the clinical case which is the subject of the written test.

Teaching methods

Clinical internship experience alongside clinical tutors / training guides, nurses or nursing coordinators in the surgical, medical and / or pediatric areas Additional clinical and methodological tutoring activities

Assessment methods

The methods of access to the internship exam are reported in the Internship Regulations. The verification of the overall learning is carried out in the context of the Internship exam, where the following are also considered: the ongoing and final assessments expressed by the internship tutors of the sites involved in relation to the achievement of the objectives set by the evaluation form; the evaluation of cases planned in training. The Internship exam is divided into a written test that must be passed to access the oral part: Written a planning of nursing assistance in written form starting from a clinical case prepared relating to the person with average care complexity; -1 microcase with a short answer question on rules governing professional practice (code of ethics, DM 739/94, L.42 / 99, etc.) -1 question on aspects subject to therapeutic education or health education (diet, physical activity, restrictions, lifestyle, ..) - 1 microcase with drug dosage calculation for adult and child The student must use a legible and understandable spelling, without using unconventional acronyms and / or abbreviations. Oral Illustrate the scientific rationale of the procedures chosen among those which are the subject of the laboratory of the year of the course and previous years

Teaching tools
