00911 - Applied spectroscopy

Academic Year 2019/2020

  • Teaching Mode: Traditional lectures
  • Campus: Bologna
  • Corso: First cycle degree programme (L) in Industrial Chemistry (cod. 8513)

Learning outcomes

The aim of this course is to acquire the scientific knowledge necessary to study and characterize spectroscopically molecules and materials with particular attention to the infrared field. Some modern techniques adopted in research and insustrial laboratories will be discussed. A number of applications of spectroscopy, such as the study of the atmosphere, caultural heritage, astrophysics and materials, will be described.
