At the end of the course, the student wuold be able to undertsand the basic pathophysiology, symptoms and signs of the most common joint disorders

Course contents

General classification of rheumatic joint diseases. Main lab and imaging investigations. overview of pharamcologocal treatments.

Acute joint disease: Rheumatic fever, septic arthritis 

Polymyalgia Rheumatica

Rheumatoid Arthritis Seronegative Spondyloarthitides

Connective tissue diseases: Systemic Lupis Erythematosus, Scleroderma, Sjogren Syndrome, myositis

Microcristal arthropathy

Medical bone disorders : osteoporosis, Paget Disease, Chronic Regional pain Syndrome

Osteoarthrosis
