Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student has acquired the ability to recognize the pedodontic aspects, as well as to face and solve complex interdisciplinary clinical cases in relation to pedodontic problems.

Course contents

Clinical examination in Pediatric Dentistry.

Pediatric restorative dentistry and pulp therapy of primary teeth.

Molar Incisor Hypomineralization.

Infraocclusion of primary teeth.

Early Tooth Loss and Space Maintenance.

Teaching methods

The teaching consists of lectures.

Lectures, based on the principles of medical teaching, require a close interaction between teacher and students and are organized in order to simulate a situation that represents the daily challenges faced by the dentist in pediatric patient management.

The final exam will be carried out through an oral examination
