Learning outcomes
To provide students updated information on nutrition and food intake in different periods of life, from childhood to senescence, including the different nutrient needs. To understand how much nutrition integrated with different aspects of health and disease. To integrate nutritional competence with different aspects of the healthcare process
Course contents
Compartmental models of body composition
Methods for the assessment of body composition: anthropometry, bioelectric impedance analysis, DXA, computed tomography
