Learning outcomes

The course focuses on the Italian Constitution. The understanding of the constitutional text and its implications involves the studying of: basic notions of the general theory of law, fundamental constitutional principles, sources of law, human rights, constitutional powers, individual rights in the judicial process, local and regional governments, relations between the Italian law system and the European/International legal systems.

Teaching methods

Class Timetable

Classes will take place during the first semester, according to the schedule that will be published subsequently.

The course will be highly interactive. Theoretical issues will be confronted with practical cases and historical evolution of the italian constitutional system.

Students will show their attendance to classes by signing a list.

Assessment methods

The students learning will be verified through a final exam, testing the formative outcomes of the course.

The final exam consists of an oral exam, focused on the course contents. The first part of the exam will be led by teaching assistants, while the second part by professor.

 

The final grade will consider the results of each part of the exam.
