Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to teach the analytical models grounding the understanding of the functioning of the economic system as  a whole and to acquire knowledge of the empirical evidence on which they are based. After attending  the course the student can apply the theoretical models  to analyze macroeconomic  problems and  to evaluate  benefits and costs of alternative  measures of economic  policy.
