Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is able to: - understand the efficiency of the performance in the activity of daily life or even in recreational and sports activities; - understanding in Fitness the closely related performance reliability, especially if this process is linked to improper lifestyles, to functional changes that often influence the quality of life, especially when self-sufficiency is at stake; - to deepen these problems, correlating them with physical activity. So the knowledge of the physical exercise programs that contribute to the achievement and maintenance of physical efficiency, health and psycho-physical well-being - to learn what are the physiological changes induced by aging to provide the basis for scientifically rationalizing motor activities. - acquire how the body, from the functional point of view, responds and adapts to physical exercise, to ensure a regular conduct of work protocols in this age group.

Teaching methods

Frontal lessons and practical training.

Assessment methods

Oral examination aimed at verifying the learning of various aspects of the subject and to assess the student's critical thinking skills and links between the various parties

Teaching tools

The lectures will be accompanied by visual and audiovisual media. In the context of practical exercises, the course has facilities for teaching and assessment of physical activity in relation to fitness
