Learning outcomes

At the end of the module, the student knows the art of building in its historical development, an indispensable premise for the design of large protective structures of the existing archaeological heritage.

Course contents

- The most basic rudimentary structures.


- The construction of Greek Architecture.

- The construction of Roman Architecture.

Teaching methods

The course consists of lectures and guided activities on the design of large archaeological protection structures.

Assessment methods

The laboratory activities include a series of ongoing reviews and an oral exam on topics related to the main objectives of the course.
