Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is able to recognize, face and solve diagnostic problems related to simple and more complex cases of periodontal problems related to the insertion of osteointegrated implants.

Course contents

At the end of the course the student has a preparation that allows him to recognize, diagnose and deal with simple cases of implants rehabilitation. In particular, the student is able to: - know the implants and their components - know odkoddftyguhijokruwhich are the most important factors related to the patient that improve or improve the prognosis of implants - evaluations of the anatomical structures where implants are inserted, know the anatomical differences between the tissues around the dental elements and the implants - know the main scientific evidence on the success of the implants, diagnose the main peri-implant diseases - recognize the indications for the treatment of the simplest peri-implant diseases

Lectures with slides, videos, publications to study and live assistance to surgeries relevant to the program

Assessment methods

Questionnaire with open-ended questions. Oral exam based on the answers of the written task.

Slides, films, live assistance to implant surgery r, and relevant bibliographic indications. Hand-out of  the lessons at the end of the course.
