Course contents

The most significant peculiarities of italia and european publishing hourses reasons related to various diverties will be highlighted: from venetian publishing expansions to first major success of milanese publishing together with understanding difficulties nad problems of neeapolitan publishing. The italian situation is then compared with French, English and Germany ones both from a techne-industrial and cultural point of view.

Assessment methods

Final xeamination consists in an study interview through which critical and methodological abilities developed by students are judged and therefore they are requested to know well obligatory and recommended textes. Specific attention will be given to students' ability to understand publishing histpry by getting pecuiarities, continuity and breaks concrning varoius historcal periods. During their examinations students have to prove to possess historical and cultural notions which are essential to get peculiariries in different publishsing houses.
