Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students have acquired basic but necessary tools for audio-visual productions, they will be capable to analyse the main issues related with audiovisual market  (publishing schedules, methods of research and editing of the footage, rights management image and marketing, etc..).

Course contents

Lessons will begin on the first friday of october 2011.  Students receive a comprehensive overview on the world's audiovisual industry and the main techniques of audiovisual production. With the help of teacher, tutors and technical experts, students will dive into practice with the cameras and editing stations audio and video. After this stage, students will begin to produce individually and in small groups, short audio-visual products that will be analyzed with the teacher every two weeks.

Teaching methods

Traditional lessons, videoprojections, shooting and editing activities

Assessment methods

Frequent tests during the year, evaluation of individual products completed during the course, evaluation of the degree of participation in the course and various activities.

Teaching tools

Our laboratory is mainly equipped with camcorder Panasonic AVCH (including tripods, microphones, etc..) and Editing Stations (Avid and Final Cut).

Individual students should have a portable personal hard drive or alternatively a USB2 pendrive with at least 4 Giga of memory.
