Learning outcomes

This course is meant to introduce the most advanced research issues in the areas of Informatics and ICT technologies. In this context, students are called to experiment by developing an individual project of their choice.

Course contents

Every year, the program of the course is defined by professors of the area of Informatics and Computer Engineering, and the like, presenting the most advanced and debated issues among their main research interests. Among the many issues made available to students, we find:

  • complex computational systems
  • selforganising systems
  • extension of programming languages, like Prolog e Java
  • technological implications of the society of knowledge
  • agent infrastructures
  • swarm intelligence
  • agent-oriented programming for SOA
  • cellular automata
  • computer graphics
  • computer vision
