Join the second Una Masterclass workshop for PhD students under DIGITALIZED! Society in the Era of Digital Revolution project!

 2nd Session: May 19, 3:00 pm - 6:45 pm (CEST)

Una Masterclasses are a few days meetings with world-leading scientists, entrepreneurs, science managers, and opinion-makers to discuss a selected, vital problem falling within the thematic scope of the project. 

The second Una Masterclass workshop will be held online by prof. Remigiusz Sapa from the Jagiellonian University – Kraków – Poland.

Applied research is understood here as any investigation using scientific methodology to acquire new knowledge (or to use previous scientific achievements) with the direct aim of changing any specific and particular aspects of reality in a desired direction or deciding not to change it at all. 

Collaborative information behaviour (CIB) comprises any information behaviours in task-oriented groups working together to achieve common goals. It includes behaviours that are exhibited when people work together to:

  • identify their information needs 
  • seek the needed information through searching and sharing information
  • use the information found to achieve the intended goals
  • manage of acquired information
