The second module takes place from Monday 10th to Friday 14th June 2019. The historical and cultural value and the information potential of this special type of archives, very diversified in form and content, are emerging strongly in recent years. At the same time, awareness that the management and communication of such collections requires a set of skills that are difficult to acquire following traditional training courses has grown. The Summer School therefore presents a transversal training offer that includes modules on the history of photography, history and recognition of photographic techniques, conservation standards, cataloguing standards, digitization processes and enhancement tools, copyright legislation, creation and management of born-digital archives related to cultural heritage documentation.
