Professional Profile
The curriculum is aimed at training a Specialist with skills in managing “complex” critical respiratory patients admitted to Intensive or Semi-intensive Respiratory Care units. This planned Professional Master’s programme is currently unique in Italy since, at the moment, there are no other postgraduate university courses that specifically prepare a specialist physician for the timing and application of invasive and non-invasive ventilotherapy.

Admission qualifications
The following Medical specialties are required: Pneumology, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Anaesthesia and Resuscitation. In addition, after receiving a positive evaluation from the Selection Committee, candidates with other Specialties in the medical field may also be admitted to the selection process.
