Professional Profile
Expert/Consultant in the design of composite materials.
- Organiser of the processing and production of composite materials.
- Expert in the analysis and characterisation of composite materials.
- Research and development expert in the field of composite materials.
- Technologist of composite materials.

In the light of the state-of-the-art of composite materials, it is of fundamental importance to increase the knowledge of engineers in the field of basic and materials chemistry and, vice versa, allow industrial and materials chemists to work more closely with designers and engineers, creating indispensable synergies between the two fields of competence. This can be done through specialist training focusing on professional engineers or chemists able to optimise their skills in the field of composite materials and who can therefore work in design teams acting as a link between structural analysts and materials technologists.
The Professional Master's Programme therefore aims to train professional figures with specific knowledge of composite materials, who can find employment in industries working directly in the composite materials sector, or in companies that may use these materials and which therefore require designers able to fully exploit their properties (Original Equipment Manufacturer, OEM). The latter category includes companies in the Automotive, Aeronautic and Naval sectors, both locally, nationally and internationally.
