Professional Profile
The teaching programme, held at the Alma Graduate School (Via degli Scalini, 18 - 40136 Bologna), will make the participants able to fill managerial positions in various areas of business and to occupy positions of management at the national and international level. Following the classroom part of the master is the practical field work, to be carried out in Italy or abroad, in the form of an internship in a company or piece of research (project work). On completion of this final stage the participants must deliver a written report regarding the activity carried out and its results.

Admission qualifications
a) 1st or 2nd level degree or degree under the previous system obtained in Italy;
b) degree obtained abroad deemed appropriate by the Admissions Board, solely for the purposes of admission to the Master's Programme, equivalent to that listed in point a) of this article.

Other requirements
Satisfy one of the following conditions:
1) That three years have passed since the award of their bachelors degree
2) That two years have passed since the award of their bachelor degree and that the candidate has at least one year (certified) of professional experience.
3) That two years have passed since the award of their bachelor degree and that the candidate has an exceptional academic record showing that they have achieved the best possible grades and finished their bachelor degree in the top 5% of the class.
Selection criteria
Admission to the Master’s degree programme is subject to the positive assessment of the candidates’ qualifications and individual interview.

The selection processes will take place:
- for those enrolled to the first window: 15th and 16th May, 2014
- for those enrolled to the second window: 10th and 11th July, 2014
at the Alma Graduate School (Alma Graduate School – Via degli Scalini 18 – 40136 Bologna –, at the time notified and in any case between 8.00 am and 8.00 pm, Italian time.

IMPORTANT: Information for students regarding modifications to the academic curriculum of the master

For the purposes of the application of the master for international accreditation in accordance with the requirements of the European Foundation for Management Development, notice is given that the credits acquired through the Master in Business Administration 2014-2015 edition, will total 72 and not 66, as reported in the previous version of the ‘call for applications’. The 6 additional credits will be acquired via the frequenting of direct lessons and participatory exercises, many of which have been optional parts of the Master in Business Administration in preceding years, and which will now become mandatory for all students in the 2014-2015 edition.

The master is divided into 6 concentrations:

1) Corporate Finance;

2) Design, Fashion & Luxury Goods

3) Brazil & Europe Business Relations

4) Food & Wine

5) China/Far East & Europe Business Relations

6) Green Energy & Sustainable Businesses

The programme includes a part common to all six concentrations and a part specific to each one.
