University of Bologna Inter-University Post-Graduate Programmes

Post-graduate Schools and lifelong learning programmes “Digital Humanities: individual, common, collective assets”

The post-graduate school aims to give individuals a central role to create a new development model in which the values of humanism, sense of continuity, social responsibility, and fraternity, adopted by the Franciscan philosophy, guide the definition of new rules and models for the most inclusive and sustainable digital acceleration possible.

Graduates and students under 35 enrolled in a first cycle degree course at any Italian or foreign participating university can take part.

The school offers a multidisciplinary programme that includes frontal learning lectures and “learning by doing” experiences with scholars and teachers from partner universities. During the week, activities will include lectio magistralis held by international innovators and entrepreneurs, teamwork and project work on Digital Humanities and meetings with companies and local entities that have managed to accelerate the digital transition without compromising on “human” control.

Lectures will be alternated with Nature walks and cultural tours to discover local beauty and treasures.

Activities will take place between 28 August and 5 September 2021 in presence, at Assisi.

The school was born from the collaboration between Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, Luiss, Polytechnic University of Milan, University of Naples Federico II, University of Macerata, University of Perugia, and Sacro Convento di San Francesco in Assisi.

Deadline application submissions: 7 July 2021
