Course contents

Leadership Academy is a learning program promoted by Confindustria Emilia - Gruppo Giovani, in collaboration with the Universities ofBologna, Ferrara, Modena and Reggio Emilia.

It will be presented to students and to the press on October 10, 2017, at 5 pm, at the Accademia Militare di Modena.

Readings/Bibliography

There isn't a coursebook for this cycle of seminars.

Those who are interested to deepen knowledge on leadership, the following books are suggested:

1. March, J. G., & Weil, T. 2007. L'arte della leadership. Bologna: Il Mulino.

2. Haslam, S. D., Reicher, S. D., & Platow, M. J. 2013. Psicologia del leader: identità, influenza, potere. Bologna: Il Mulino.

Teaching methods

  1. Provide opportunities to confront with business leaders.
  2. Storytelling (focus on entrepreneurs).
  3. “Train” on leadership.

Each session consists on one or more of the previous teaching method, in an interactive perspective.

Assessment methods

Assessment consists on a paper no longer that 10 word pages, developed in small teams.

Each team should be composed froma minimum of 4 to a maximum of 5 students.

The paper should regard a theoretical review (max 5 pages) and a personal re-elaboration (max 5 pages) of a topic addressed during the Academy.

The paper should be sent to gabriele.morandin@unibo.it within December 23, 2017.

Evaluation will be expressed in terms of eligibility (eligible vs. not eligible).
