How Digital Technologies are affecting our economy and society?

How novelties in Robotics, Data Science, AI and Deep Learning are transforming working organizations?

How can we manage Digital Transformation of companies and other organizations in order to improve our Society?

In this course, we will explore a range of perspectives in order to better understand Digital Transformation and explain how the introduction of new digital technologies is affecting individuals, teams, and organizational processes.

Learning about these changes will provide you new insights about the interaction between Digital Technologies and human behavior in organizational settings. The course will also provide a deeper knowledge about different approaches to manage Digital Transformation.

Teaching methods

We will work together to accomplish the course goals.

Most topics will be introduced by means of a brief overview followed by case analysis and discussion, and other active learning activities.The course will include a team based project work that will benefit of AI tools designed to facilitate organizational interaction.

You will be encouraged to raise questions and participate in class discussion. In order to discuss issues outside class, you will have the chance to interact with your Class-mates or with the Teacher during office hours or appointments.

Assessment methods

Assessment of your learning will include:

A) a written test made of 15 multiple choice questions to be answered within 45 minutes (weight 60%)

B) evaluation of the team project that will be presented during classes (weight 40%)

C) peer evaluation that will be performed by your Team-mates (extra 10%)
