Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student understands  the fundamental tools of patrimonial consultancy taking mainly into consideration  the role of private banker and the professionalism oriented to personal financial planning and large assets.

In particular, the student will get  high skills in analysing:

• the link between macroeconomic trends (scenario analysis) and the impacts on financial planning; 

•   the interconnections between business management and family businesses; 

•  the insurance and social security aspects of the personal life cycle.

Course contents

The course aims to provide an overview of the wealth management discipline linked to behavioral finance considering the main themes in both literature and practice.

The course introduces the following topics:

2. Cultural Differences in Investors' Behavior;

3. Neurological Foundations and Biases' Moderation;

4. Diagnostic Tests for Investment Personality;

5. Decision Theory;

6. Product Design;

7. Dynamic Asset Allocation;

8. Life‐Cycle Planning;

9. Risk Profiling;

10. Structured Wealth Management Process;
