Learning outcomes

The course must lead the student to know the basic grammatical and lexical structures of the Arabic language and possess an elementary linguistic competence both oral and written that enables him to interact in a limited number of everyday communicative situations. 

Course contents

Grammar: the arabic case system (nom., Acc. And gen.), The verb in the present, the verb in the future, the verb "kana" and the use of the verb "kana" with the concept of the verb to have, the derived verb ( II, III, IV), relative pronouns, comparative and super relative, numerals and "masdar".

A comprehensive lexical knowledge at an elementary level of the modern standard Arabic language, both written and spoken.

Readings/Bibliography

The texts examined during the lessons refer to overall communicative contexts at the elementary level. A mandatory bibliography is not required, the information and materials will be provided at the beginning and during the course.
