Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student of individual and team sports knows: - the different types, the classifications and the basic characteristics - the modalities for defining the performance model - the training values in educational, recreational and sport contexts - the techniques, the technical regulations, the conventional graphic symbols, the equipment, the players' roles and the game patterns adopted by the teams (relative to sports start-up) It is also able to propose a simple didactic methodological path and a progression of start-up exercises to the sport.

Course contents

Introduction to the course, organization and operating methods.
From play to sport - social values, educational values - ethics, sports and symbols -
Gender sport - sport for all - Birth, dissemination and role of sporting activity.
Classification of sports - characteristics of team sports and individual sports - Regulations, amendments and changes to regulations over time.
The model of performance and competition - Sport practice: examples of performance models.
The analysis and evaluation of the sporting gesture - The research methodology: technical analysis, tactics analysis - Analysis of energy mechanisms. Psychological and motivational aspects.
Sports training: theory, methodology and practice - Sport of power, endurance and speed.
Motor learning and sport learning - The theory of action - The teaching of tactics - The skills and teaching of technique - Role and development of fundamentals.
Theory and practice applied to Sport Science, examples and characteristics

Model 2 Volleyball
Know and apply the technical regulation to organize meetings as an instructor, teacher or sports manager. Distinguish the roles of the players and the game schemes adopted by high-level teams. Didactic progression of fundamentals and basic game schemes.

Model 3 Basketball
Know and try the fundamentals of basketball.
To know and apply the technical regulation to be able to organize meetings as an instructor, teacher or sports manager. Distinguish the roles of the players and the game schemes adopted by high-level teams. Receive some information on the scheduling of training sessions also for the purposes of accident prevention.

Model 4 Gymnastics
General and specific Physical Preparation: Strength, dexterity, mobility, elasticity, control and stability through play, initial exercises, facilitating courses, corrections and assistance;
Practical exercises of artistic gymnastics: the prerequisites (preacrobatica and minitrampolino). Start-up of the discipline and educational progressions to the free body and to the great tools.

Model 5 Athletics
Origin and history of the different specialties and performance models. Description of the different expressions of force in jumps, launches and races. Technical regulation. Technique and teaching of the start, running and acceleration phases, phases launched
Rhythmic and technique of passing the obstacle. Technical elements in launches, jumps, in multiple tests, in relay races. Technique and teaching of special exercises and preatletics
Evaluation - Multiple choice test consisting of 32 questions. With scores between 18 and 24 inclusive, the oral exam is mandatory. With scores over 25 the oral is optional.

Teaching methods

The course includes lectures in the classroom and laboratory exercises in the modules with tutorial.
The teaching material presented in class is made available to the student in electronic format via the Internet.

Assessment methods

The evaluation of Module-1 will be with oral / written examination (in the form of a questionnaire with open questions). The final grade of the subject will be obtained from the average of the marks obtained in the 5 modules at the end of the entire teaching cycle.
