Learning outcomes

The job market: a new scenario. The importance of your personal vocation and talents when choosing your professional career. How enter the job market: the use of active search channels. How to write an effective resume and letter of presentation. The self-marketing to enter and remain in the job market . The job interview and other selection procedures

Course contents

Students will learn how to effectively introduce themselves in a job interview and how to prepare a CV. By the end of the course students will be able to search for relevant information, analyze and practice of job-seeking skills, how to use employer information base, and evaluate different job placement options.

The importance of your personal awareness as far as your talents and potential are concerned, when choosing your professional career; the context of current job market and the use of active search channels. How to write an effective resume and letter of presentation for your self-marketing; the job interview and other selection procedures, various steps and practice on different processes/challenges in the recruiting phase.
