Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student is able to know how to sample and measure the main risk factors present in the living and working environments; exercise the knowledge acquired at a theoretical level which can then be implemented in the internship activities.

Course contents

I lesson

- The administrative and PG documents on health and safety at work and related forms (Circular RER 10/2014, sanctions extinction procedure (Legislative Decree 758), administrative sanctions and criminal seizures)

- The investigation activity in the investigations for accidents at work. Operating procedures and documentary documents.

II lesson

- Risk management in confined or suspected pollution environments.

III lesson

Title IV of Legislative Decree 81/08. Safety figures on construction sites. Obligations and responsibilities.

IV lesson


- Obligations regarding training and safety in the workplace according to current legislation and the State-Regions Agreements.

V lesson

- Personal protective equipment. Certification regulations, characteristics and protection requirements.

- Health and safety signs in the workplace

Readings/Bibliography

Teaching materials made available by the teacher on professionalising topics regarding health and safety in the places of life and work.

Teaching methods

Lectures and case presentations on the professional subjects covered.

Assessment methods

Administration of questionnaire consisting of 30 multiple choice questions and 1 open question, on prevention issues addressed in educational workshops. The exam will be passed if the student correctly answers the open question and at least 20 multiple choice questions.
