Readings/Bibliography
Students attending the course will be provided with slides and supporting materials.
A mailing list will be available for communications (https://www.dsa.unibo.it/ ). Subscribing the mailing list is compulsory to be allowed to download slides and supporting material.
Teaching methods
The course will be based on lectures given by professionals in Off-Shore engineering companies. Lecturers for 2017 edition will be:
Antonellini Claudio, Rosetti Marino
Sussich Fabiana, Techno
Farinelli Ugo, Bambini Srl
Lonardi Graziano, Cosmi
Cortini Gabriele, Equa srl
D'Ettore Emilio, Impresub
Assessment methods
The exam will consist in a written test. Students will be required to answer to 6-10 questions. Some will be open questions requiring no more than 10-20 lines of answer, some will be short numerical exercises based on lectures, some will require the choice among multiple answers.
The exam is set to evaluate the students' knowledge-level, application abilities, and technical communication skills.
Higher grades will be awarded to students who demonstrate an organic understanding of the subject, a high ability for critical application, and a clear and concise presentation of their ideas.
To obtain a passing grade, students must have completed at least 60% of the questions and answers should be sufficiently complete and correct, demonstrating that the key concepts of the subject are understood and a comprehensible use of technical language is achieved.
A failing grade will be awarded to students showing knowledge gaps in key-concepts of the subject, inappropriate use of language, and/or logic failures in the analysis of the subject.
