Learning outcomes

The student acquires competences in advanced mathematical methods and tools, with applications to aerospace and mechanical engineering.

Course contents

Revision and complements on integration theory. Normed spaces. Hilbert spaces. Fourier series and applications. Functions of one complex variable. Harmonic functions. The Dirichlet problem for the Laplace equation. Fourier transform. Applications to the heat and to the wave equation. Calculus of probability.
