Learning outcomes

Aim of the course is to provide students with an up-to-date information on the most advanced and specialized particles detectors for colliders and astrophysics in terms of operative principles and performance related to their use in present and future experiments in nuclear, subnuclear and astroparticle physics.

Course contents

Experiments and techniques in future colliders: the physics, the experimental problems, the detectors, the computing problems. Some examples.

Some example of electronics used in most recent experiments.

The current and future experiments in the astyroparticle Physics: in space, on and under-ground, underwater. Physics topics and detectors.
