Course contents

The teaching program’s main objective is to contribute to the training of the students towards the bibliographic research, providing the essential coordinates of the discipline, with historical and methodological inputs. The history of bibliography will help in deepen their knowledge of contemporary bibliographies in specialized fields (on paper, on line, etc.), based on their specific degree courses: in this way, students will be able to identify, select and use specialized bibliographies in order to reach bibliographic information, essential for the preparation of their thesis.

Within the course are lectures in general, academic or special libraries, as well as bibliographic research exercises. Lessons and exercises will focus on writing the bibliographic note.
