Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student:

- knows the organizational and functional system of the state and the administrative apparatus, as well as the organs that compose it;

- is able to properly set up a research using the sources of national and Community law;

- knows the complex mechanism of sporting arrangement, in its relations with the State, also in terms of the management of sports facilities and the health of athletes.


Course contents

The legal order and the law. The state. The legal order of the European Union. The sources of law. Fundamental rights. The parliament. The president of the Republic. The Government of the Republic. Regional and local governments. Public Administrations. The judicial system. Constitutional justice.

The sporting legal order and the system of sources. Institutional subjects of the sporting order and sporting justice. The health protection of sport and doping.

Teaching methods

-Front lesson

-The frequency to the lesson is essential for the complete learning of the subject, although the examination topics are totally displayed in the bibliographic books indicated.

- The published slides are only an aid for the lessons and are therefore not sufficient for the purpose of learning the subject

Assessment methods

Written examination (three essay questions) concerning topics indicated in the examination programme

The vote will be defined as:

30 and praise, excellent argument and perfect written exposure

From 24 to 30, complete argument and correct written exposure

From 18 to 23, sufficient argument and uncertain written exposure

In the course of the lessons the teacher will use the projector and show slides and documents
