Conoscenze e abilità da conseguire

At the end of the class, students will have a thorough view of the main directions of current research in economics. It will have attained the ability to develop critical and original views on both empirical and theoretical directions of research.

Serie di seminari di ricerca nei diversi campi della scienze economiche tenuti con cadenza settimanale, nell'arco dell'anno accademico, da docenti e ricercatori invitati presso il Dipartimento di Scienze Economiche. Potranno essere inclusi anche seminari online offerti da altre istituzioni di ricerca nazionali e internazionali, su suggerimento o approvazione da parte del Coordinatore del Corso di Studi.

Modalità di verifica e valutazione dell'apprendimento

A list of the seminars is available at this link: https://dse.unibo.it/en/research/seminars (all are valid for the activity except the "PhD seminars").

Students choosing this activity should attend ten seminars, then prepare a report for 3 of them to be sent to Prof. F. Barigozzi by the end of June, together with the list of all the attended seminars.

The three reports will provide a summary and a synthetic critical assessment of the methods and results of the papers presented in the selected seminars. (Minimum length: one page; maximum length: two pages for each chosen seminar).
